When he was brought in, the animal was covered in matted hair, dirt, and trash.

His face was in anguish, although you could barely make it out.

Somehow, underneath that filthy mess was actually a tiny dog.

Shockingly, the mass removed from his body was even bigger than the pup himself.

He didn’t understand that the scary strangers around him were just trying to help.

But as they pressed on, rescuers began to see thankfulness in his eyes.

And after a few final touches…

…this little dog finally looked like an adorable puppy again.

Surrounded by loving hands and a cozy blanket, he was able to drift off to sleep and begin his new life.
